Sb2Se3 films were obtained by chemical molecular beam deposition (CMBE) at a substrate temperature of 400℃. The X-ray patterns show diffraction peaks belonging to the orthorhombic phase of Sb2Se3. The obtained X-ray diffraction patterns are in good agreement with the standard picture, which indicates a good crystallinity of the films, while no other phases were detected. Surface of the SbxSey films had a compact morphology. The sizes of crystals of SbxSey films, consisting of rods, were in the range of 0.5÷8 microns. The average diameters and lengths of the SbxSey rods deposited at Sb/Se with ratios of 0.66 and 0.7 were approximately the same at 0.5−1 and 1−4 µm, respectively. The Raman spectra have peaks at about 80, 100, 126, 145, 153, 190, 211, 237 and 441 cm−1 . For film samples with Sb/Se≈0.52, 0.67, 0.7 and 0.76, strong peaks are observed at 190 and 211 cm−1 corresponding to Sb-Se bonds, and weak peaks at 100, 150, 365 cm−1 associated with Sb-Sb and Sb2O3 bonds.
