The films Sb2(SxSe1-x)3 were studied by scanning electron microscopy of films grown at differentvapor pressures. Microcrystals in the films are evenly distributed over the surface of thesubstrate. The morphology of the film surface changed significantly depending on the ratio ofelements S/(S+Se) in the vapor phase. Crystallites synthesized at different ratios of S/(S+Se)components had the shape of microrods with a diameter d=0.5−2 μm and length l=3−5 μmwith a noticeable displacement angle relative to the substrate. X-ray diffraction patternsshowed the presence of peaks corresponding to the compounds Sb2Se3 and Sb2S3, as well astheir solid solutions. All solid solutions had an orthorhombic structure. The optical propertiesof Sb2(SxSe1-x)3 films obtained on glass substrates at a substrate temperature of 420°C werestudied using a spectrophotometer (UV-5100 UV/Vis). The energy gap values (Eg) obtainedfor Sb2(SxSe1-x)3 films were 1.2, 1.35, 1.5 and 1.65 eV at different values of S/(S+Se). Thechange in band gap energy is associated with a change in the ratio of elements S/(S+Se).
