Annotatsiya

Model experiments on the scattering of nitrogen atoms by the surface of a carbon nanotube were carried out using molecular dynamics methods (ReaxFF, LAMMPS). In this work, a twolayer carbon nanotubes with chirality (5.5) and (10.10) with a diameter of 0.678–1.357 nm and chirality (8.0) and (17.0) with a diameter of 0.627–1.332 nm and a length of 2.229 nm have been constructed. It is shown that the adsorption process prevails in the energy range of nitrogen atoms 0.94–15 eV, while the encapsulation process prevails in the range 16–18 eV. It has been established that the nature of the occurring processes depends both on the energy of the interacting nitrogen atoms with the nanotube.
