The article provides a scientific and legal analysis of legislative reforms implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan between 2019 and 2026 aimed at developing the institution of administrative liability for domestic violence. Particular attention is paid to the 2019 Law “On Protection of Women from Harassment and Violence,” Laws No. 829 (2023) and No. 978 (2024), as well as Presidential Decree No. PF-33 of 3 March 2026. The study identifies systemic problems in law enforcement practice and conducts a comparative legal analysis of the standards of the Istanbul Convention and the experience of Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Kazakhstan. Based on foreign experience, the article formulates conceptual proposals for the further improvement of national legislation.
