Annotatsiya

The article analyzes the role of religious and ethical norms in shaping the “soft” legitimization of female leadership in science and education within the post-secular context of Uzbekistan. It explores how female leaders operating within universities, research centers, and innovation projects perform the function of social mediation by aligning the interests of state institutions, the academic community, and local value systems. Particular attention is paid to the interaction between rational-legal regulators and traditional-cultural norms, as well as to the mechanisms of public recognition and symbolic capital that ensure the sustainability of modernization processes. The analysis is based on a combination of regulatory sources, national statistics, empirical data, and theoretical concepts of post-secularity, rational-legal authority, and symbolic capital.
