The article examines the impact of digital technologies on the transformation of migration processes and the mechanisms of their legal regulation. It highlights the role of digitalization in increasing the efficiency of public administration, ensuring the transparency and accessibility of migration services, and shaping new forms of migration, including virtual labor migration and remote employment. Particular attention is paid to scholarly approaches to understanding digital migration. In particular, the positions of researchers regarding the emergence of new categories such as “digital migrant” and “electronic mobility” are analyzed. The need to refine the conceptual framework is substantiated, including through the introduction of the category of “virtual migration of labor services.” The study also provides a comparative analysis of the official online platforms of migration authorities in several countries, including the United States, Germany, Sweden, South Korea, and Russia. Their functional capabilities, interface structures, accessibility of information, and the level of digital services provided to migrants are examined. Both positive aspects (convenience, multilingual accessibility, and digitalization of procedures) and existing shortcomings (limited interactivity, the lack of certain services, and language barriers) are identified. In conclusion, it is argued that the development of digital technologies contributes to the modernization of migration policy and expands access to public services. However, it also necessitates the improvement of legal regulation, the strengthening of information security, and the adaptation of digital platforms to users’ needs.
