Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the role, significance, and potential of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) educational approach in teaching higher mathematics. The STEAM approach aims to develop creative thinking, strengthen students' problem-solving skills, and integrate their mathematical knowledge into real-life and professional contexts. The article reinterprets the methodology for designing professionally oriented problems in mathematics (for engineering students) within the context of STEAM and demonstrates mechanisms for increasing students' creative activity.
