This article is devoted to the study of contemporary doctrines, theories, and perspectives concerning the protection of the rights of women who have been subjected to domestic violence. The article examines both legal and sociological approaches to this issue. The scientific article was prepared within the framework of funding for scientific and (or) scientific and technical programs for 2025–2027 aimed at the implementation of the IRN project BR28713695, “Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Family and Society Cooperation on Issues of Violence Against Women and Adolescent Girls,” funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
