The article analyzes the concepts of combating crime and forecasting, the current state of criminological forecasting in our country, and the reforms being implemented in this field. It examines the use of achievements from both exact and social sciences in crime prediction and prevention efforts. Additionally, the article explores the experiences of some foreign countries in criminological forecasting.
