Annotatsiya

The article examines the current state of teaching scientific written communication in Russian at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Based on an analysis of Russian language curricula and teaching materials, the main areas for developing scientific writing skills are identified. The study shows that the existing system provides a necessary linguistic foundation but requires a stronger activity-based orientation focused on the process of text production. The communicative-activity approach and the use of micro-tasks are considered effective means of improving instruction.
