The article explores the current system of translator training in the Republic of Uzbekistan, focusing on educational standards, curriculum frameworks, and institutional practices. It analyzes the integration of modern pedagogical technologies, including ICT and AI-based tools, in translator education. The study also considers the role of bilingualism, professional ethics, and practical training in shaping translator competence. Recommendations for enhancing the quality of translator training in line with global standards are presented.
