This article analyzes German and Uzbek proverbs from a structural perspective. Proverbs are among the oldest and richest genres of folk oral literature, and their grammatical and syntactic structures reflect national thinking and cultural values. German and Uzbek proverbs demonstrate both structural similarities and differences and are often formed through short, rhythmic, and parallel constructions. The study examines the morphological, syntactic, and semantic features of proverbs, highlighting similarities as well as differences that reveal the national characteristics of the two languages.
