This article addresses the systematic differentiation of action verb synonyms at the lexical-semantic level within a specific microfield. The study focuses on the microfield of “destructive and physically harmful actions” and provides a corpus-based comparative analysis of the synonym pairs kesmoq–qirqmoq and qiynamoq–azoblamoq. The analysis is conducted using several key parameters: verbal aspect (telicity/atelicity, punctuality/durativity), complement properties, lexicalization type (manner vs. result), degree of affectedness, and stylistic-pragmatic load. The findings demonstrate that although the verbs share a common semantic core, they exhibit systematic differences in aspectual structure, semantic range, and discourse distribution. Kesmoq shows greater semantic universality and functional flexibility, whereas qirqmoq is more specialized and result-oriented. Similarly, qiynamoq tends to denote a neutral, process-oriented difficulty, while azoblamoq conveys intense, emotionally marked suffering. The study contributes to refining lexical-semantic criteria for distinguishing Uzbek action verb synonyms at the microfield level.
