This study analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of using innovative teaching methods in organizing biology lessons in general secondary schools from a scientific and pedagogical perspective. In the course of the research, the effectiveness of interactive methods, problem-based learning, project-based teaching, STEAM technology, information and communication tools, and multimedia resources in mastering biology was investigated. In addition, the influence of innovative methods on the development of students’ cognitive activity, independent thinking, scientific worldview, and practical competencies was identified. The results of the study showed that the application of modern pedagogical technologies in biology lessons increases students’ interest in the subject, facilitates the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical activities, and significantly enhances the effectiveness of education. Furthermore, it was substantiated that lessons organized on the basis of innovative approaches positively affect the formation of students’ ecological thinking, the development of analytical skills, and the scientific understanding of biological processes. The study also developed methodological recommendations for the modernization of biology education.
