This article examines the concepts of “minor” and “children in need of special protection and support from the state and society.” It analyzes current regulatory legal acts that safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of minors, as well as international legal frameworks for ensuring their protection. The article also considers mechanisms for protecting minors’ rights and the constitutional foundations for strengthening social protection.
