The article examines the institutional mechanisms of legal compliance and protection of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan in the context of modernization of public administration and the development of a market economy. The key directions of the state policy aimed at ensuring legality, transparency and legal protection of business are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the work of government agencies, anti-corruption measures, the institution of a business ombudsman, judicial protection of entrepreneurs and the introduction of compliance systems in corporate governance. The article also examines the regulatory framework for the formation of a compliance culture and mechanisms for preventing offenses in the business environment. The main problems of legal compliance have been identified and prospects for improving the institutional system of business protection in Uzbekistan have been identified.
