The article analyzes the historical development of the Russian language as a means of cultural and educational interaction between the two countries. It traces the stages in the formation of educational ties and examines the mechanisms of interuniversity cooperation, state programs, and institutional initiatives, including scholarships, exchange programs, the activities of public organizations, research projects, and the training of Uzbek specialists in Russian universities.
