This study analyzes the didactic potential of assessing fundamental sciences within the medical education system and the motivational factors of the assessment process. In medical education, fundamental sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, and anatomy play a crucial role in developing students' clinical reasoning and practical skills. Therefore, the assessment process must evaluate not only knowledge but also students' motivation for professional growth, independent thinking, and analytical abilities. The study examines modern assessment approaches, including the rating system, diagnostic tests, reflective monitoring, peer assessment, and portfolio assessment. The results indicate that the effectiveness of medical education can be enhanced by improving the didactic assessment system for fundamental sciences.
