This article analyzes principles for teaching the fundamental sciences in higher medical-education institutions. The study evaluated the effectiveness of traditional, interactive, problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning (TBL), and integrative teaching approaches. It also assessed the impact of digital technologies, distance-learning platforms, and simulation tools on the educational process. Results show that integrative and problem-based methods significantly improve students’ knowledge retention and practical skills. Linking fundamental and clinical sciences, implementing student-centered approaches, and deploying digital learning tools are key factors in enhancing the quality of medical education.
