This analysis examines the orders issued during World War II for organizing the resettlement of peoples deported from various regions of the USSR to Uzbekistan, particularly to the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions. It focuses on the characteristics of special settlements, the highly unsatisfactory conditions in providing housing for the special settlers, and the problems encountered in medical and sanitary services during the accommodation and organization of these displaced populations.
