The article examines the issues of morphological and semantic adaptation of English borrowings that have entered the Uzbek lexical system as a result of the influence of English as a global means of communication. In recent years, English-origin words have been widely used in Uzbek in fields such as technology, economy, culture, education, and communication. The processes of their phonetic, morphological, lexical, and semantic adaptation are analyzed based on linguistic evidence, media materials, and examples of contemporary Uzbek speech. Special attention is given to the mechanisms of morphological integration and semantic shift of English borrowings within the Uzbek grammatical and conceptual framework. The study also highlights the impact of globalization, language policy, and sociocultural factors on the dynamics of linguistic borrowing and linguistic norm formation.
