This article analyzes the formation and stages of development of radio broadcasting in the Namangan region from a historical perspective. The research examines the introduction of radio technologies, the establishment of the first transmission stations, and the development trends of radio journalism from the Soviet period to the years of independence. It also explores the role of local radio channels in regional information policy and social life. The article is based on archival data, periodicals, and historical documents related to radio broadcasting. By examining the establishment of radio stations, their technical infrastructure, and the professional development of personnel, the author demonstrates the influence of Namangan radio on the socio-political and cultural life of the region. The conclusion offers recommendations on the future development of local radio broadcasting mechanisms in the era of digital technologies and their significance in ensuring information security.
