The article analyzes the place and role of the military police in the Armed Forces based on international experience and studies the specific features of the national system. The organizational and legal foundations, structural composition, management and subordination procedures, as well as the tasks and powers of the military police in international practice are thoroughly analyzed, and proposals are put forward for their introduction into national legislation.
