The article examines the history of radio broadcasting in the Fergana Valley, focusing on the establishment and development of the Namangan radio station based on archival sources. It analyzes the first broadcasts in 1932, the activities of the city radio committee, and the social and cultural impact of radio during the post-war years. The study also highlights the modernization of Namangan radio in the years of independence, the adoption of digital technologies, and the challenges of engaging younger audiences. The findings demonstrate that Namangan Radio has played a significant role in shaping public consciousness as an integral part of the regional mass media system.
