This article analyzes the issues of prosecutorial oversight in the reception, registration, and review of crime reports and statements. The article also aims to reveal the mechanisms for ensuring legality during these procedures through prosecutorial supervision. The significance of prosecutorial oversight for the timely initiation of criminal cases and investigation of crimes is examined, with the ultimate goal of restoring violated individual rights and freedoms.
