This article analyzes the prosecutor's powers in receiving and registering applications, reports, and other information related to crimes from a scientific and legal perspective. Based on criminal procedure legislation requirements, it highlights the legal significance of mandatory registration of applications and reports, the content of prosecutorial oversight, and its implementation forms. The article also analyzes violations of legality associated with failure to register or delayed registration of crime-related information, and their negative impact on citizens' rights and freedoms.
