This article analyzes the legal aspects of employment carried out through digital platforms. Platform employment is considered a new form of work organization that is not fully covered by traditional labor and civil law regulatory models. The study examines the legal status of electronic commerce platforms and order aggregators, their role in shaping employment, as well as their role in the distribution of economic risks. Based on an analysis of international experience and the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the article substantiates the need to improve the regulatory framework governing the platform economy. Conclusions and proposals are formulated to enhance legal certainty and protect the rights of participants in platform-based relations.
