This article analyzes directions for improving the organizational and legal framework of crime prevention. The author emphasizes the importance of legal and institutional foundations that ensure the effectiveness of the content, subjects, tasks, and methods of preventive activities. Additionally, based on an analysis of legislation and regulatory legal acts in the field of crime prevention in Uzbekistan, proposals are put forward for developing proactive, victimological, and social prevention mechanisms. The article focuses on enhancing legislation, strengthening institutional cooperation, and increasing the effectiveness of prevention through the implementation of modern information and technological solutions.
