The article examines the protection of personal and political human rights on the Internet within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and international standards. It analyzes issues related to freedom of expression, access to information, the protection of personal data, and citizens’ participation in political life through digital platforms. Particular attention is paid to the classification and characteristics of personal and political human rights. The significance of the Internet in ensuring democratic rights and the need for an effective state policy in this sphere are highlighted. Proposals are put forward for improving legislation, taking into account existing societal challenges.
