The article analyzes the new steps in the judicial and legal sphere outlined in the Address of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan on December 26, 2025, as well as their impact on mechanisms for the protection of human rights. It also examines the role and significance of the judicial and legal system reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in guaranteeing human rights, ensuring judicial independence, enhancing the transparency and digitalization of judicial proceedings, increasing citizens’ legal awareness, and integrating international standards. As a result of the analysis, it is recognized that the formation of a fair and transparent judicial system creates opportunities for the effective protection of human rights and for increasing public trust in the judiciary.
