This article analyzes nonverbal representations of the concept “Heart” in contemporary visual and gestural communication. It focuses on graphic symbols, emoji, bodily gestures, and artistic visual images that function within the digital environment, popular culture, and art. The study is conducted in an interdisciplinary manner, drawing on semiotics, cultural linguistics, and visual studies. The author proposes a classification of nonverbal representations of the concept “Heart”, identifying their semantic functions and interpretative characteristics across various cultural contexts. It is concluded that the image of the heart forms a stable visual code of emotional communication, combining universal and culture-specific characteristics.
