This article provides a systematic analysis of the formation, content, and evolution of ideological policy in the People’s Republic of China in the context of modernization. The main focus is placed on the preservation of socialist ideology and on state policies aimed at integrating it with the mechanisms of the market economy and the processes of globalization, considering both theoretical and practical dimensions. The article examines the role of the ideological leadership of the Communist Party of China, as well as the significance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the concept of the “Three Represents,” and the “Scientific Outlook on Development” in the course of modernization. In addition, a comprehensive analysis is conducted of the importance of ideological policy in ensuring social stability, strengthening national unity, and maintaining political legitimacy.
