This article investigates the methodology of using cognitive visualization technologies to improve the efficiency of students’ work with texts in higher education. The relevance of the study is determined by the need for rapid analysis of the semantic structure of texts and understanding of logical connections in the context of a sharp increase in information volume. The article analyzes the problems of modeling the semantic field of texts and reveals the influence of visual images on human memory and perception based on the principles of cognitive psychology. In the course of the experimental work conducted by the author, a comparative analysis was performed of the effectiveness of graphic organizers such as the “Fishbone” diagram, Venn diagram, and mind maps in uncovering text content. The research results show that visual modeling significantly shapes not only the level of students’ text comprehension but also their socio-communicative competencies.
