Annotatsiya

The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors that influence female well-being in the workplace within Uzbekistan’s higher education sector. By focusing on the unique context of Uzbekistan, the study aims to contribute to the growing global discourse on women’s empowerment and representation in professional settings. The research employs a quantitative survey to gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting women’s well-being in this specific industry. The literature review draws on previous studies to collect information related to factors that influence well-being. It presents an extensive discussion of the existing scholarship in which this issue has been explored in depth. In addition, the methodology section provides a step-by-step explanation of the data collection process. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS, with a total of 410 participants included in the study. The estimated model consisted of one dependent variable (well-being) and three independent variables: work–life balance, work stress, and persistent gender discrimination. Furthermore, the model included one moderating variable (personality traits). The results obtained from the analysis are examined in detail in the discussion section. Based on the findings, the study outlines its limitations, provides recommendations, and presents conclusions along with a list of references.
