The article examines international legal aspects of intellectual property (IP) protection in the context of digitalization. The relevance of the topic is driven by the global nature of the digital environment, which creates new challenges for IP protection and requires coordinated international approaches. The paper analyzes international agreements (TRIPS, WIPO “Internet treaties”, regional agreements of the EU, USA, China, etc.), key issues (digital piracy, cross-border infringements, NFTs, artificial intelligence and copyright), as well as judicial and arbitral practice. The conclusion highlights the need to harmonize international legal mechanisms for IP protection in the digital environment and to strengthen cooperation among states.
