This article examines the regulatory sandbox as a mechanism for the adaptive application of cybersecurity and personal data protection requirements to digital startups. The relevance of the topic lies in the need to ensure a balance between fostering innovation and the development of startup ecosystems, and protecting public interests in the context of the digital transformation of society. The study analyzes the regulatory framework of the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as relevant academic literature, to provide a comprehensive interpretation of the findings. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the feasibility of a differentiated and risk-based application of cybersecurity requirements within the framework of a regulatory sandbox.
