Content and Pedagogical Opportunities for Developing Clinical-Diagnostic Competence in Teaching Otorhinolaryngology in the Context of Digitalization of Medical Education

Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the content and pedagogical opportunities for developing the clinical-diagnostic competence of future physicians in the process of teaching otorhinolaryngology within the context of the digitalization of medical education. The study is grounded in the competency-based approach, the concept of integrative medical education, and principles of digital pedagogy. The research examines the integration of virtual clinical environments, simulation-based learning, electronic clinical case banks, and artificial intelligence–based diagnostic training technologies into the educational process. The results of the experimental study demonstrate that the use of digital educational technologies significantly enhances students’ clinical thinking, diagnostic analysis skills, and clinical decision-making competence. It was also found that learning within simulation-based and digital educational environments improves students’ ability to interpret instrumental diagnostic data and analyze clinical situations. The findings confirm that the implementation of an integrative pedagogical model based on digital technologies in teaching otorhinolaryngology serves as an effective didactic tool for developing clinical competencies among future physicians.
