This article scientifically analyzes the pedagogical necessity of developing clinical reasoning competence in future physicians and the didactic factors for improving this process. The relevance of the study is driven by the growing demand in modern medical practice for physicians' ability to conduct diagnostic analysis, assess clinical situations, and make evidence-based clinical decisions. The objective of the research is to determine the pedagogical need for developing students' clinical reasoning competence during medical education and to substantiate the methodological mechanisms for the effective organization of this process. The research process utilized methods such as scientific literature analysis, pedagogical observation, questionnaires and surveys, pedagogical experimentation, and statistical analysis. The study results indicated that problem-based learning, case-based education, and simulation training are effective pedagogical tools for developing students' clinical reasoning skills. Furthermore, it was determined that the use of digital educational technologies positively impacts the development of students' diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making competencies. The research findings demonstrated that the widespread implementation of innovative pedagogical methods aimed at developing clinical reasoning competence in medical education is of significant importance in enhancing the professional training of future physicians.
