This article examines the translation and lexicographic features of ecotourism terminology in English and Uzbek from linguistic, semantic, and cultural perspectives. As the field of ecotourism continues to expand globally, the accurate translation and standardized dictionary representation of its terminology have become increasingly important. The study analyzes the sources of term formation, semantic structure, cultural specificity, and contextual usage of ecotourism terms using a comparative approach. Furthermore, it explores translation strategies such as calquing, transcription, and semantic adaptation in Uzbek, as well as the treatment of ecotourism terms in bilingual and specialized dictionaries according to modern lexicographic principles.
