This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical foundations of juvenile delinquency and its practical manifestations. The study examines the causes of crimes committed by minors, as well as the social, psychological, and legal factors influencing their development. It also analyzes existing procedures for working with minors within the criminal legislation and crime prevention system of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including practical mechanisms for their identification, prevention, and rehabilitation. The article emphasizes the importance of cooperation among law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, the mahalla institution, and psychological services in reducing juvenile delinquency. Based on a comparative analysis of the experiences of advanced foreign countries, the study develops proposals and recommendations for improving the national system. The research results contribute to an accurate assessment of the current state of juvenile delinquency and to the formulation of effective preventive measures.
