Annotatsiya

This article explores the theoretical and scientific approaches to the concepts of "term" and "terminology" within the scope of world linguistics. The focus is placed on the role of terms in scientific thinking, principles of their formation, and linguistic foundations for organizing terminological systems. The views of prominent scholars such as G. Reynbek, E. Wüster, and V.M. Leitch are analyzed. Comparative insights are offered across disciplines to draw broader conclusions about the development and use of terminology.
