This article highlights the pedagogical significance of the dual-education system and a module-based professional approach for developing competencies among students in technical fields at higher-education institutions. It provides a systematic analysis of the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and industrial enterprises within the dual-education model. The alignment of theory and practice in contemporary educational processes is justified as a key factor in enhancing students’ professional readiness. The module-based approach is discussed as a method that enables competency-oriented learning, ensures interdisciplinary integration, and prepares students for real-world professional activity.
