This article examines the transformation of the parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of the intensive development of digital technologies and formation of a digital governance environment. It analyzes the evolution of the institutional and functional foundations of parliamentarism and assesses the impact of digitalization processes on the effectiveness of the legislative, oversight, and representative functions of the Oliy Majlis. Particular attention is paid to institutional innovations related to the implementation of digital platforms, electronic document management systems, online discussions of bills, and digital transparency tools. The work identifies key areas for modernizing parliamentary activity in a digital context, including improving the quality of the legislative process and strengthening interaction with civil society. In conclusion, the main problems hindering the full-fledged digital transformation of parliamentary activity (technological, organizational, legal, and personnel barriers) are formulated, and practical recommendations for overcoming them are proposed, aimed at increasing the openness, effectiveness, and efficiency of parliamentary functioning in the digital age
