This article examines the principles of consumer protection and the specifics of their implementation in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Drawing on international standards and national regulatory acts, it identifies the legal foundations of consumer protection and traces the system’s evolution—from an initially declarative model to a functionally effective mechanism for practical protection.
