The article addresses pressing issues of consumer legal protection in the context of rapidly developing e-commerce. The author analyzes modern challenges, including insufficient legal protection, payment recovery problems, and personal data vulnerabilities. The research is based on a comparative analysis of national and foreign experience, regulatory legal acts, and scientific literature. Special attention was paid to the need to adapt legislation to the new realities of digital trade. As a result, the main problems were formulated, and directions for improving legal regulation in this area were proposed.
