The article examines the historical and cultural dynamics of the Korean diaspora's adaptation in Uzbekistan through the lens of physical culture and sports. It explores the consequences of the 1937 deportation, forms of social and institutional integration, and mechanisms for preserving ethnic identity in a multiethnic society. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of Korean athletes and sports organizations to the development of sports at the republican and all-Union levels. The article also highlights gender aspects of sports participation and the current state of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the field of sports. Based on empirical and historiographic materials, the role of sport is substantiated as an instrument of adaptation, social mobility, and ethnocultural legitimization.
