In modern era of life changes due to globalization processes, national sports perform the responsible task of preserving the unique historical and cultural experience of previous generations. State support and cultivation of national sports serve to increase the cultural potential of world sports. The article examines the traditions of folk physical activity as a sociological and cultural phenomenon on the territory of modern Uzbekistan. It is analyzed, against the background of historical events, physical education was formed over many years. The importance of national sports is shown, with a positive impact on youngsters, in strengthening the spiritual and physical health of the nation.
