This article shows the manifestation of creative activity in preschool older children and the importance of educational games and methods. The game provides a good mood in the child, enriches his emotional experience, develops visual-imaginative thinking, imagination, speech. Well-developed children will have higher intelligence. Play is an important condition for a child’s social development. In it, children learn about the different activities of adults, understand other people’s feelings and situations, learn to empathize with them, and acquire the skills to communicate with peers and older children. The game has a good psychotherapeutic effect, because through the actions in the game, children unknowingly and involuntarily expel the accumulated negative emotions.
