This article highlights the reforms carried out in the field of social security in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rights of the population to social security are enshrined in the Constitution, highlights the problems existing in the sphere in the coming years, and ways to solve them. In addition, one of the seven priorities set out in the "new development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026", developed in accordance with the principle of "action strategy - to the development strategy", is the implementation of a fair social policy, the development of human capital, the ongoing reforms after 2017, including the appointment of pensions, the methods of its payment are introduced.
