The aspects of historical development of physical culture and sports in the 20-30s in the Uzbek SSR are examined on the basis of the sources. The social role of sport and physical culture activity on the way of new social system formation is reflected. The tendencies of physical education system formation in the young republic under the political, ideological, social and economic difficulties are analyzed. The role of physical culture and sports in the power of influence, especially on young people in social and educational processes, in ideological moods is emphasized.
